Short Story Writing Workshop
Facilitated by an Adarna House author, this lecture-workshop will feature intensive discussions on the basic elements of the short story.  Perfect for young book lovers, the class will help participants to create their own character studies and narrative lines.

April 26 to 30 (Monday to Friday)
For ages 13 to 16
Fee: Php 2,000.00 per head


Book Illustrating Workshop
This lecture-workshop will touch on the basics of book illustration. Participants will be taught how to create studies, build storyboards, use different styles, trends, and techniques in illustrating books for children.  

1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
May 3 to 7 (Monday to Friday)
For ages 9 to 12
Fee: Php 3,350.00 per head


Book-Making Workshop at FHL
Kids learn the basics of book development as they are taught the step-by-step process of creating their own book – from writing their own story, breaking down their narrative into scenes, to drawing their characters and events on each page. The workshop is facilitated by Jomike Tejido, author and illustrator of Ang Pambihirang Sombrero.

April 12 to 16 (Monday to Friday)
For ages 6 to 11
Fee: Php 3,500.00 per head

 

Each class will accept only a maximum of twenty-five (25) students, on a first-come, first-served basis.  Fees are inclusive of all materials needed for the workshop.
